OC Bloggerings From The DNC

The OC blogosphere is well represented at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.
TheLiberalOC.com's Chris Prevatt is a delegate, and he posted this video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi haranguing...excuse me, rallying the California delegation. Warning: she goes on for almost 8 minutes. Second warning: Republicans will probably need a strong drink after watching the video, if not before.
In a shrewd move, Total Buzz recruited the Mike Schroeder to blog for them at the DNC (and likewise have Wylie Aitken blog for them at the RNC gathering in Minneapolis). It's also quite a statement on how the mainstream media is scrambling to cope with the continued growth of the blogosphere. Ev en a year or two ago, there's no way a mainstream outlet like the Reg would have considered adding prominent partisans -- individuals they report on -- to their reporting team, which is essentially what they done.
Mike's doing a great job, observing and analyzing the Democratic zoo in his understated way. Here Mike blogs about the NOW reception and its potential for rallying recalcitrant conservatives to the McCain standard, and here he writes about the Obama store.

It is good to have the Dark Lord here. Conventions tend to be echo chambers so Mike will join the other parachute Reps in stirring the pot. Frank Barbaro has set up elaborate plans to distract Mike with classic vollyball match films and hopes that the China jet lag will prevent Mike from finding any more Clinton delegates to do McCain ads. If Mike causes too much trouble though Frank's going to have Mike drugged and dress him up as a gutty little Bruin.
