Jerry "Hamlet" Winant, whose claim to fame was being defeated in his challenge to Ken Williams just 3 months ago, had pulled papers for both Trustee Area 3 of the Orange Unified School District and Trustee Area 3 of the Rancho Santiago Community College District.  I first noted his "desperate for any political office" move when he pulled papers for OUSD.  Then, Jubal wrote a post about his "Chinese fire drill" move when he pulled papers for RSCCD and told the Greater Orange News Service that he was dropping out of the race for OUSD.

Well, he's changed his mind again!  According to the candidate filing log at the Registrar of Voters, he's withdrawn his papers for RSCCD and filed his papers for OUSD.

Winant looks desperate to gain any office he can get, and the voters will see through that.  He already lost in June, and he will be a two-time loser for 2008 if he tries to run for anything this November.
