If you go (it sounds like you are), can you ask her the status of the CCW program? Specifically, for those who are in jeopardy of losing their permit, when/how will they be contacted, etc?

It's a hot button issue, plus many PSRs have permits, so it shouldn't be too far off topic (unless she wants it to be.)

OC IN THE KNOW, letters have been mailed out to CCW holders who will not be renewed. If you are among the large list of people being denied for renewal or 1st time application, you should be receiving a letter very soon.
