Coupla mixed news items from today:
Rep. John Campbell (R-Irvine) was one of the few in Congress to have a one-on-one with Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, noted in my post at Flashreport and reported in The Hill.
Also of interest, LAObserved has a brief snippet from longtime LA Times OC reporter David Haldane about his layoff from the Times amidst downsizing. Gustavo Arellano from OCWeekly and LAOBserved have also noted Bill Lobdell's departure, here. Also noted on a "list" complied by TellZell, a blog covered extensively by LAObserved, is the departure of longtime OC reporter for the Times (and Mater Dei parent) David Reyes. OC-Inland Reporter, and canyon resident Janet Wilson also makes the list.
