Last month, June 21, roughly 3,000 union supporters shouted, "Negotiate!" and threatened to shut down Atlantic City as they rallied in support today of a union contract for casino dealers, according to an AP report.
Then there is the long relationship between the reverend Jackson and the powerful California Teacher’s Association. It has taken the union some 30 years to attain the dubious distinction of ranking as one of the states with the worst public education in the nation.
Now, Bloomberg reporters Greg Miles and Caroline Salas report that General Motors Corp. and Ford Motor Co., have about a 46 percent chance of default within five years, according to Edward Altman, a finance professor at New York University's Stern School of Business.
