I see on Total Buzz and TheLiberalOC.com that the Obamessiah is having a fundraising in Orange County this Sunday...at the Balboa Bay Club.
Very proletarian. I guess it's part of "moving to the center." Or maybe it's to give us all "hope" that one day we can afford to become members.

Balboa Bay club is a union joint, that's why the Dems have their events there. You also don't have to be a member to go to the Obama event, just fork over $2,300.

I worked at the BBC for a summer many years ago. The uber rich are a very interesting group of people.
Certainly a momentous occasion so we can remember how much Senator Obama has in common with Mahatma Gandhi.
Also a time to remember Gandhi’s Seven principles widely known as the Seven Global Blunders:
1. Wealth without work,
2. Pleasure without conscience,
3. Knowledge without character,
4. Commerce without morality,
5. Science without humanity,
6. Worship without sacrifice,
7. Politics without principle.
