Loretta Dodging The Obama Whammy

Posted by: Jubal | 07/25/2008 12:39 PM

Sanchez military.jpgMy opinion of Democratic Rep. Loretta Sanchez has gone up a notch after reading this intriguing Total Buzz item, reporting she hasn't yet endorsed Barack Obama, her party's presumptive presidential nominee.

"I know nothing about Obama," Sanchez told the Register in this story about the Latino vote from June. "I look on the Web site. I don't know what he's about yet."
Someone needs to tell Loretta she is missing the point. Don't bother with the pesky Obama website, which is under constant revision anyway as the Citizen of the World "refines" and redefines his positions. The point is Loretta doesn't need to know anything about what Obama stands for. The beauty of being an Obama backer is that he is whatever you want him to be!

Just surrender to Obamafication, Loretta. Let your mind and your thoughts drift away, drift away. It will be so much easier that waaaay....

Oh Matt -- he is SO going to kick butt in November. You guys don't have anything positive to say about McCain. 200,000 Germans out to hear an American Senator speak.

And please..on changing his stance on issues, McCain makes Kerry look like an amateur. I'm still looking for the troublespots along the Iraq-Pakistan border that McCain talked about.

Katrina, Mark Foley, Larry Craig, Mortgage Crisis, $4 a gallon gas, $3 Billion A Week in Iraq, Cheney Shooting his friend in the face, Mississippi CD voting out the GOP, Bobby Jindal's seat going the other way, Denny Hastert's seat going the other way, NRCC campaign treasurer embezzling hundred of thousands, largest deficit in US history, Enron, Osama Bin Laden still on the lose, Afghanistan a mess, oil and energy execs setting a disastorous energy policy, only 1 Republican Congressman left in New England, polls showing Obama winning in most of the battleground states, Halliburton, Scooter Libby, McCain flip flopping on tax cuts for the rich, McCain firing 3 campaign managers, Abramahoff, Corona, Van Tran Sleeze, Bustamante talking about bras, dirty Gary Miller, Drunk Ken Calvert, Nielson the pedophile, strange parties on Friday nights at the Balboa Bay Club, Dina's many male friends, Mimi using anti Asian mailers, Dana hanging with the Taliban. Matt, the country sees what is going on. Perhaps you don't see the writing on the wall but if you would just open your eyes it is right in front of you. Dear Lord, please let Obama win, the country can't take anymore of this..........................

If the best defense you can muster for Obama's ever-evolving policy positions is to say "McCain does it too:...well, all you're really doing is confirming that Obama is a flip-flopper.

As for the second clown, it's too late at night to parse through that big vomit you pass off as an argument and respond.

Yes, please let Obama win: my taxes aren't high enough and the government doesn't control enough of my life.

My opinion of Loretta went down a notch and that opinion didn't have far to fall.

Does she think Obama needs her to help win the Latino vote? Since nobody knows her outside OC she'd better rethink that (although for her it may be too late already). California's electoral vote is going to go to Obama anyway. Small fish like Loretta curry favor by endorsing the primary candidate before he gets the nomination sewn up - not by playing hard to get afterward.

And if she ever thinks about running for statewide office she may come to regret her ill-timed political pas de deux.

Loco Loretta comes off looking like a childish dolt here.

The fact that a member of the House of Representatives proudly announces that she knows nothing of her parties presidential nominee is an embarrassment itself, but the fact that her sister is one of his biggest supporters makes it even worse.

Does she fear that Obama is so liberal publicly supporting her could hurt her against Rosie Avila.

If it isn't that, then the woman is crazy.

Jubal, I think you struck a nerve with the local liberals. "Matt, Matt, Matt" childish, moronic kitchen sink rant of every liberal incantation in Leftwing Voodoo book is proof enough of that (bu he/he lest out "Bush Lied!"), with good old predictale Dan piling on with the predictable talking points.

They both know, deep inside, their guy isn't qualifier the job. They both know they want to turn the nation over to a guy who was sitting in the Illinois state legislatre barely four years ago, and has little to show for any of his time in government.

But boy, can he talk! And since liberalism is 9/10 emotion, all they care about is being stirred.
