Bruce Broadwater Pulls Plug on his Mayoral Run

I recently reported that Garden Grove Councilman Bruce Broadwater is exploring the possibility of running for Mayor in November. Well it looks like Broadwater had a change of heart and decided to stay put in his current position.
Last week, Bruce Broadwater called a few of his supporters and informed them of his decision not to challenge incumbent Mayor Bill Dalton.
I think this is a good move. Why spend all that resource and energy to take out a sitting Mayor when the position doesn't carry that much more power and influence on the 5-member City Council anyway.
