No Free Ride for Fountain Valley Council Members

Fountain Valley politics is usually a sleepy affair with incumbent
Council Members facing little opposition if any in their re-election
bid.However, this year one candidate by the name of Mark McCurdy (pictured left) promises to mix it up by directly challenging one of the two Council Members who are up for re-election: Gus Ayer, the sole Democrat on the Fountain Valley City Council.
McCurdy wants to make sure that everyone knows about Gus Ayer and his liberal tendencies (e.g. donating to MoveOn.org).
For a first time candidate, McCurdy has received a few stellar endorsements. His candidacy is endorsed by Congressman Dana Rohrabacher and RNC National Committeeman Shawn Steel. Recently he was elected as one of the six Republican Central Committee Members from the 68th Assembly District.
The Mark McCurdy for City Council campaign is being handle by GBWA, according to the candidate. Yes, that's Gilliard Blanning Wysocki & Associates.
