Edgardo Reynoso Sues Former Hoa Staffers, Says His "Reputation" Has Been Damaged

Yeah. That's why Edgardo has a bad rep.
Revealingly, Reynoso's lawsuit is limited to the allegation that he tried to run Rychel off the road. No mention of all the online and print stories of all the other hinkiness and ineptitude -- not reporting 82% of campaign expenditures, Reynoso's failure to even admit obvious (and doubtless known to him) violations of campaign disclosure, hemorrhaging of staff, bringing in "Dopey," "Youngster" and other upstanding citizens into Hoa's campaign, putting out terrible mail and generally running a crummy campaign.
It's pretty clear Edgardo was already doing a bang up job damaging his own reputation.
According to the lawsuit, Edgardo claims it couldn't have been him trying to run Courtney Rychel off the road on May 22 while he was driving Phu Do Ngyuen's Lexus because a) Phu Do's Lexus was in the shop between May 13 and May 29 and b) he was on the phone with the campaign treasurer at that time, and his candidate, his business partner and some other Hoa person witnessed him doing so.
That's certainly convenient.
Question: what the blazes was wrong with Phu Do Nguyen's Lexus that it was in the shop for 16 days?
Well, at least it's virtually certain Hoa Van Tran is going down in flames tomorrow, and the citizens of Orange County will be spared any possibility of having a Supervisor who is so obviously not his own man and so thoroughly dominated by folks who are best kept from any proximity to the levers of power.
UPDATE (10:20 a.m.): TheLiberalOC.com's Chris Prevatt posts this morning that the lawsuit hasn't been filed as of 9:00 a.m., is unsigned by the attorney and hasn't been served on anyone.
Good points, Chris -- and a good post.
I'm beginning to wonder if the original post on this topic from Orange Juice isn't an indication of a reconciliation between Art Pedroza and Sean Mill?

Hoa Van Tran, Edgardo Reynoso and their gangster thugs used to intimidate voters, candidates and their campaign volunteers will be an albatross around the necks of Orange County Democrats for at least 20 years.
The decision of the Democrats to stay married to this disaster is on that Republicans will not forget.
Where's Hoa campaign lap dog Sean Mill? He's burning it up over at Orange Juice over the same issue. He must be afraid to post over here where he's not the smartest guy in the cabbage patch.
