CUSD Recall Mailbox: The Other Election Heating Up

There's still the June 24 recall election in the Capistrano Unified School District, but it's been overshadowed by the various primary election battles -- helped by the general assumption targeted Trustees Marlene Draper and Sheila Benecke are doomed.
The Committee to Reform CUSD - sort of the spiritual successor of the CUSD Recall Committee -- starting mailing to absentee voters last week with this mailer:
It's a negative/positive piece -- with the de rigeur grainy black-and-white photos of the targeted trustees looking smug and detached, alongside grainy black-and-whites of the indicted former superintendent and assistant superintendent.
The grim, shadowy past is contrasted for voters with the bright, sunny future represented by recall candidates Sue Palazzo and Ken Maddox.
It's a good mailer that ably drives home the recall message.

The pictures of the incumbent trustees look like mug shots...and the headlines on the inside make the case why they probably are mug shots. This recall election is a no-brainer -- the corrupt incumbents need to go (and should have resigned long ago)!
Looks about right. Couldn't have happened to a more deserving bunch of educrats.
I've heard that Marlene Draper is running around worried about her "legacy." Well, Marlene, here it is
