Previously, I'd taken a look at who our Supervisors and a first batch of our Assemblymen had endorsed for the different Primary races around the County.

Today, it's Spitzer and Duvall.

Todd Spitzer finds himself in a precarious position. He's termed out of office and logic would hold that he'd want to use his last endorsements on his way out of office to pick winners who could in turn support him when he makes his eventual return.

Mike Duvall is more of a question mark. While congenial with nearly everyone, the jovial Duvall's criteria and motivation behind endorsements remains more of a mystery - at least to me - but I'll admit to not knowing the Assemblyman particularly well.

That aside, the two's endorsements are nearly identical, with the notable exception of the 71st AD, where Spitzer has endorsed Blais to endorse him, while Duvall has endorsed Jeff Miller.
