SD33 Watch: Police Unions Association Wants Walters To Apologize To Sidhu for "False Statements"

I just got a robocall paid for the by Harry Sidhu for Senate campaign. The narrative is by Greg Palmer "of the Orange County Coalition of Police & Sheriffs" otherwise known as OC COPS.
Palmer criticizes Sidhu's opponent, Assemblywoman Mimi Walters, for false and erroneous statements" about Sidhu - a clear reference to the hit pieces against Sidhu -- here and here -- that landed earlier this week.
Palmer praises Sidhu for being "tough on prosecuting criminals -- including illegal immigrants" and winds up by calling on Walters to apologize to Sidhu.
[FYI, Greg Palmer is the head of the Anaheim police officers union.]
And just think: we still have five weeks to go until the primary.

Wow, don't you just love it when Republicans spend money to promote the union message?
What's funny is: Palmer almost HAS TO endorse Sidhu because Sidhu will still serve out time on the Anaheim City Council when he loses. Palmer wants a chit he can cash the next time his union members are angling for another pension and benefit hike.
Or maybe Greg Palmer just wants to clarify the record?
If you're going to use a lie on a negative mailer, do it in the last weekend.
The city council minutes she refers to confirm what she said in the mailer is correct - Sidhu did vote against putting a full-time ICE officer in the jail.
It seems the one doing the lying is the union and Harry - big surprise there!
Those minutes show that Anaheim already had an ICE officer program in their jail for more than 10 years in fact and that the Police Chief said the program was working fine so no change needed. No brainer.
I just read them - they show that Anaheim had a PART-TIME officer and that the Grand Jury wanted a FULL-TIME Officer.
Harry opposed a full time officer.
Point seems to be that ICE was working in Anaheim and vote supported that continuing. The Walters' mailer sure doesn't say that now does it. Get real.
Two good hard-hitting pieces.
But, since when are Darrell Issa and Kevin McCarthy "Orange County Congressmen?"
