SD33 Mailbox: Harry Gets The Union Label

The Orange County Employees Association weighed in on behalf of Anaheim Councilman Harry Sidhu's bid for the Republican nomination in the 33rd Senate District:

This is the second voter communication by the OCEA on Harry's behalf.
Why the OCEA interest in helping Harry? OCEA represents a portion of the Anaheim city workforce, so this is a way to score some points with an incumbent Anaheim councilman who'll be on the council for at least another six months, win or lose.

Sidhu is going down next Tuesday, just like his union-backed friend Dave Shawver. This mailer was to curry favor with an incumbent Anaheim councilman who will be running for Anaheim mayor in 2010.
Republican Sidhu has support from Anaheim City Employees. They know and support him. Makes sense.
Support from working people in this economy isn't a bad thing. Have you been to the gas pump or the supermarket lately?
Seven out of ten so called "working people" in America are now non-union. Union members aren't the only "working people" in Orange County, California, or the United States. In fact, union households are in an ever decreasing minority. So don't go justifying union support for Sidhu with that nonsense.
Plus, Sidhu wouldn't (be able to) do jack about gas prices or food prices. That's just a baloney promise.
