Proposition Recommendations

The emails have started to pour in asking for recommendations on the propositions. Here they are, short and sweet:
I fully back 98 as it will restore the private property protections lost in the terrible U.S. Supreme Court decision in the Kelo case. It also ends rent control. Rent control is government interference in the marketplace akin to wage and price controls. Rent control depresses new construction and reduces maintenance of existing dwellings. On a macro level, rent control actually worsens the problems that it purports to solve -- just like a host of other well-intended government programs attended by unintended consequences.
I oppose 99 as it is a total sham initiative put on the ballot by the same people who want to take your property and sell it to someone else to boost tax revenue.

"the same people who want to take your property and sell it to someone else to boost tax revenue."
Or, as is more likely the case, give it to someone else to boost tax revenue.
