New on the Irvine Tattler ... A new committee formed by an attorney with ties to allegedly radical international groups took over $3,800 from an Orange County Democratic Party fund, then paid it all to a printer used by Mayor Beth Krom to send a letter falsely accusing Councilwoman Christina Shea of being a lobbyist.

Wow Steve; shilling flimsy stories on other blogs to pull in readers. And Shea is a lobbyist. Dozens of directories across the web still list her as one.
Dan,
Christina Shea has never lost an election in Irvine. You threw everything but the kitchen sink against her last year and it failed miserably. Trying to smear her the same way again this year with that ridiculous Measure H hitpiece is not going to change the results.
But she can smear the other side all she wants right Allan; well, Krom hasn't lost an election either, neither has Kang and Larry has won his, last 4? Must be tough to run when all you can do is play the victim.
Dan, I hope you know there are a lot of people on both sides of the partisan fence who are laughing at you because of your baseless assertions that Shea is a lobbyist. You have no credibility with a lot of fellow progressives such as myself who know better. We can't decide whether you're hopelessly naive or you'll do anything to curry favor with Agran just because he's a Democrat.
People want change, which is why Obama will win in November. If all you can offer are the same old debunked lies and smears, hopefully Obama will clean house on the Democratic Party once he wins the White House and charlatans who've adapted Karl Rove's playbook for unethical Democratic candidates will find themselves punted to the curb.
