Judicial Mailbox: Big Mailer From Judge John Nguyen
Posted by: Jubal | 05/20/2008 6:19 PM
A big, four-color, fold-out mailer from incumbent Judge John Nguyen, the incumbent in OC Superior Court seat No. 25, landed at Casa de Jubal.
It's the biggest mail piece I can remember seeing from a judge candidate. Judge Nguyen must be doing alright in the fundraising department. On the back is a letter of endorsement signed by Loretta Sanchez, T-Rack, Dick Ackerman and Van tran:
I'd say this puts the last nail in the political coffin of Judge Nguyen's opponent -- except Timothy Sy Nguyen candidacy is already dead-and-buried.
Timothy Ngyen's campaign gives new meaning to the word "invisible." The only question is whether Judge Nguyen wins by 40 points or 50 points.

Timothy Nguyen's purpose is to irritate Judge Nho Trong Nguyen and make the incumbent waste not only time, but also money.
I think Timothy is doing that quite well, wouldn't you say so?
1. 400-ballot statement
2. Slates
3. 1 countywide mailer
4. 1 joint Team T-Rack mailer
Did I miss anything? That's probably more than what KC Jones is spending on his race.
There's a union bug on his mailer. I'm sure he spent lots more that KC Jones. Having Forde/Mollrich around probably doesn't help the budget either.
Judge Nguyen is a class act - that is why literally EVERYONE is supporting him, on both sides of the bar, on both sides of the political spectrum. It's nice to see when everyone in OC can agree on something. Timothy Nguyen is just a hack hoping voters get all the nguyens on the ballot confused.
Agree 100% with what 1:50 PM said. Judge Nguyen is a thoughtful, independent thinker, which is one of many reasons why both sides respect him.
And if you're a lawyer, you will not find a judge who cares for you as a human more than Judge Nguyen. This cannot be said of many judges in the OC bench.
