Judge Watch: Kermit Marsh & Jon Fish Joint Mailing
Posted by: Tomahawk | 05/25/2008 3:49 PM
Designed by Scott Hart, the decent looking piece is attempting to portray Marsh and Fish as candidates with strong ties to the law and order community.
Nothing yet from their opponents Barry Collins, Michael Bartlett, and KC Jones.

..."attempting to portray"...Yes Tomahawk, the pen can be mightier than the sword. But your words do not do justice to these fine candidates.
I'm pretty sure you do your homework and know that Kermit Marsh graduated from the School of Law at Berkely Boalt Hall (one of the finest in the country) and that his brother (with whom he is very close) is on the Police force. Kermit has practiced law for 18 years. In addition to that he has been on the Westminster City Council reviewing every item on the agenda with the eye of an eagle for years. He brings up pertinent points with the City Attorney and they evaluate certain points of law regarding city issues. As with most lawyers, he is very particular with each point he feels is important to make for the City of Westminster.
Additionally, Kermit has a plaque on the wall of his office that indicates his affiliation with MENSA. MENSA (in case you didn't know) is an organization that has membership consisting of the top 2% of Intelligence Quotients. While MENSA tests and you are proven to have that top 2% of the population in intelligence, that alone would not make you judge material. But that, combined with 18 years of law practice, graduation from a prestigious law school, and remaining a conservative after going to Berkely (!); and serving your community in the many ways he does makes him an exceptional choice for Judge in my book.
Personally, I really like him being on the City Council because he's so darn smart, some slick people that come to the council just don't get anything by him. And really, that's what I'd like to see in a judge. I would be very sad to lose him as our council member because he brings a whole new meaning to the word "thorough" when going through the mighty stacks of items that come before the council...but I'd also like our judicial system to be enhanced with his knowlege, thoroughness and approach to law.
Your comments just introducing a mailing piece belie the facts. You really should be more objective. It would serve you better.
If Kermit Marsh have a problem with my portrayal of his intelligence, I'm sure he can find a way to let me know.
Stop being an annoying pest. It would serve you well if you just enjoy the mailer that I put up instead of reading too much about what I didn't write in my post.
LOL, touched a sore spot eh?
