Judge Watch: Debra Carillo In The Mail

Here's something you don't see every day: a direct mail piece from a judicial candidate.
Dep. District Attorney Debra Carrillo sent out a nice elongated postcard mailer today. Direct mail is expensive and Superior Court judge is not an office conducive to raising money, so it's not that often you see judge candidates in political mail unless it's a slate mailer.
In any case, here's the piece for reader's perusal:

I think this race is coming down to either Carrillo or Westminster Councilman Kermit Marsh, but we'll see.

Go Debbie!!!
Citizen says: Go Kermit! Kermit Marsh has been an attorney for I think 18 years. He has argued cases before the CA Supreme Court and won. He crosses his t's and dot's his i's. He is a stickler for detail because "the devil's in the details". He has been a Westminster City Councilman for 10 years and has often had to remind the city attorney of certain aspects of law. Kermit is a braniac. He has excellent recall; great comprehension; and his three children give him a soul. Everyone in Westminster has seen him with his children at one time or another. He does not pass off that responsiblity to his wife. He is often with Dermit, his oldest son, or sometimes has all three of them. I remember a meeting he showed up to where he had his two sons with him. One had a corndog in his hand and got grease from it on the back of Kermit's suit. He just smiled and said "oh it will come out". His kids adore him.
His brother is a policeman on the Westminster PD, and he hasn't "favored the PD because his brother is there. He clearly explains all aspects of why he is voting the way he will vote.
His fellow councilpersons respect his tenaciousness and seemingly appreciate that someone on the council has paid such detailed attention to every agenda item.
He is tough, but kind. I think he would make a perfect judge. I'm voting for him and I want all of you to vote for him too!!
