Crime Victims United Of California Endorse Debra Carrillo for Judge
The state's largest and most influential victims' rights organization, Crime Victims United of California (CVUC), has announced its support of Deputy District Attorney Debra Carrillo for Orange County Superior Court Judge.
"Crime Victims United of California is pleased to endorse the election of Debra Carrillo to Judicial Seat #12 of the Orange County Superior Court," said President Harriet Salarno.
"CVUC is a bi-partisan, statewide organization of victims of crime, law enforcement officials, legal professionals and others who work to promote effective crime reduction measures and strengthen the rights of crime victims", continued Salarno. "Based on Debra Carrillo's interview and her strong support for our issues, the CVUC Board unanimously voted to endorse her candidacy."
"The Crime Victims United endorsement is a huge boost for Debra's campaign," said Consultant Chris Jones. "While some judicial candidates are trumpeting their endorsements from politicians, Debra is earning her support from Crime Victims, Judges, Public Safety and Law Enforcement."

Debra is just what this county needs. Is it true that less than 20% of judges are women statewide? More power to her.
