Hoa's Hinky Campaign Report Countdown: Day 29

You may ask yourself how the countdown all of a sudden advanced to 29 days?Chris Prevatt answers that question with this excellent investigative post over at TheLiberalOC.com.
Chris posts information I have also learned about, plus much more that I hadn't in terms of unreported expenditures. He calculates Hoa has failed to report at least $8,477.12.
TheLiberalOC.com investigation has uncovered solid and irrefutable evidence that Hoa Van Tran failed to report $8,447.12 in expenditures paid by check out of his campaign bank account on or before the initial campaign reporting period ending March 17, 2008. Those expenses were his Candidate Filing Fee, $1,430.42; Candidate Statement Fee, $5,965; salary payment to one campaign staffer, $500; reimbursement to a campaign staffer for purchase of office supplies, $51.70. In addition, our investigation found that an independent contractor was paid $500 to set up office computer network on the weekend of March 16, 2008. We were unable to get a copy of the check to determine if it was issued from the campaign or Hoa Van Tran personally because the vendor cashed it at a check cashing center and did not keep a copy.Chris has more in his post, and notes that he's forwarded his finding on the Shirley Grindle in hopes she'll file a complaint. Good.
The most striking evidence that the campaign may have failed to accurately report expenditures is the range of check numbers between the $500 payment of salary on March 8th; and reimbursement for office equipment ($51.70) on the March 15th. There are at least sixteen checks from the campaign checking account with First Vietnamese American Bank, assuming they started with #1001, that have been used including eleven check numbers separating the payments on the 8th and 15th of March. There are three expenses in the campaign report exceeding $100 that one could presume were paid by campaign check. There are additional non-itemized expenditures of $17.81 which is likely a single payment. That leaves at least ten checks unaccounted for during the filing period. What were these checks used for and why are the expenditures not reported?

Funny to see that the Democrats are eating their own. Chris Prevatt probably got all the information from fired or defected campaign staffers.
What the heck? Why don't Janet and Hoa pay the people they hire to help them?
What arrogance.
In a business where you only have your word and your friends - Janet and Hoa seem to be fine going back on either.
I am wondering how much money is Edgardo Reynoso getting paying because he likes to be pay very well.
Well I guess it's hard to trust Democrats when you are a dyed-in the wool Republican. I don't think Hoa has a ice cubes chance in a "hot place" if you know what I mean of winning this race. The pictures of his staff are very interesting especially when you click on them and blow them up to full screen size and note that it appears the members of the picture are making gang signs with their fingers and the tattoo's are also "interesting". They do look like a "gang" which is rather scary when you have a candidate hiring what appear to be gang members....to run his campaign. Or maybe he's just trying to keep them off of the streets? LOL
