Hoa Heading For Showdown At DPOC Corral?

For 40 days, Hoa Van Tran has refused to fully disclose his campaign expenditures (and contributions?) for 40 days.
Last week, speaking through the medium of LiberalOC.com blogger Sean Mill, the Hoa campaign promised to filed the amended reports today, in compliance with the request of the OC Registrar of Voters.
If he doesn't file the amendment, according to Chris Prevatt at LiberalOC.com, the Democratic Party of Orange County will reconsider its endorsement.
I called the ROV's office about 20 minutes ago, and the amended Hoa report had not arrived. He's got until5:00 p.m. (the ROV stays open until 8:00 p.m. for close-of-registration) and the ROV said it is a priority to upload his amended report the moment it arrives.
If doesn't, the DPOC may react to that failure they way the OC GOP did to Tan Nguyen's infamous "immigrants can't vote" letter in 2006.
In the meantime. Sean Mill continues his desperate, frenetic effort to muddy the waters and divert attention away from the central issue: Hoa Van Tran's knowing refusal to follow the campaign ordinance governing the county government he wants to supervise.
