Ouch, talk about getting caught red-handed. I've come to expect illegal acts from the old Fleming trustees, but the new Superintendent should have known better. T-Rak will have to intercede. This is going to get ugly.
More of the same from the CUSD veteran trustees and, this time, with Spt. Carter right in the middle of it. If Tony Rackauckas doesn't start taking these continuing violations more seriously, it will discourage the public while emboldening arrogant miscreants like Sheila Benecke and Marlene Draper to continue thumbing their noses at the DA's office and the public. Prosecution of these lawbreakers is long overdue and this is one case where Rackauckas could finally demonstrate that the Brown Act is worth a damn, and not the joke many people think it is.
Tonight is the next CUSD board meeting. It will be interesting to see how Carter and the old guard try to spin themselves out of this one, and whether they bring one of those sleazy legal lawyers in from the OC Dept of Ed to help cover it up for them, again.
T Rack has already sent a warning. If this news is what it appears to be, and T Rack doesn't take action, it's time for him to go bye bye too!! Could be the start of a new recall.
