CUSD Recall: Maddox Endorsed By Three Dana Point Councilmembers

Dana Point Women Leaders Endorse Maddox for School Board
Aliso Viejo- Ken Maddox announced today the endorsement of all the women on the Dana Point City Council. Councilmembers Diane Harkey, Lisa Bartlett and Lara Anderson have all endorsed Ken Maddox for Capistrano Unified School Board.
Ken Maddox is running to replace Sheila Benecke on the Board. Benecke is facing a special recall election stemming from continued investigations by the District Attorney resulting in two indictments thus far of top administrators. Investigations are continuing into several irregularities at the Board.
"Dana Point has repeatedly demonstrated its commitment not just to clean beaches and oceans but also to its children," said Maddox.
Ken Maddox is a former member of the California State Assembly where he served on the Education Committee. He has a daughter who is a graduate of Dana Hills High School and a son currently attending a CUSD elementary school.
