CUSD Recall: Chuck DeVore Endorses Ken Maddox For Trustee

This came over the transom yesterday from the Ken Maddox for CUSD Board:
Conservative Stalwart Assemblyman Chuck Devore Endorses Ken Maddox for School Board
(Aliso Viejo)- 70th District Assemblyman and well respected statewide Conservative stalwart Chuck Devore became the latest elected official to throw his support behind Ken Maddox's candidacy for a seat on the Capistrano Unified School District. Devore's announcement comes on the heals of local Senators Ackerman and Wyland endorsing Maddox.
Of Ken Maddox, Devore said;
"It is time to restore fiscal sanity to our schools. Ken will bring taxpayer accountability back to the District."
Devore, who was first elected to the Assembly in 2004, represents portions of the CUSD including Aliso Viejo.
Ken Maddox said, "I will be a watchdog over the taxpayers dollars, making sure that EVERY cent is accountable. Our children deserve nothing less."
Maddox, a former police officer, Councilman, and State Assemblyman, is known around the County as a reformer, leader and as Columnist Dan Weintraub once called him, a "Maverick".
