Orange County Grassroots Organization Endorse Orange County's Favorite Son
(Orange) - The Orange County Chapters of the California Congress of Republicans (CCR) have announced their endorsement of conservative Larry Dick. CCR is a leading grassroots political organization committed to the principles of individual liberty, lowering taxes, curbing frivolous government spending, and protecting private property rights.
"Larry Dick is a proven conservative and we need him in Sacramento to preserve Orange County's voice in the State Assembly," said James Kwok, President of the North Orange County CCR Chapter.
"Due to constant overspending, California is faced with a huge budget deficit," said Larry Dick. "As the owner of a small business, I know you can't spend money you don't have. We must fix a broken system that is failing taxpayers and get California back on track."
The Sixtieth Assembly District is currently held by Bob Huff who is running for State Senate. AD 60 consists of three counties: Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino. Orange County voters dominate the voting and contain 52% of the registered Republican voters, while Los Angeles has 34% and San Bernardino 14%

Isn't the CCR a moderate group? Why did the Orange County machine back a moderate? I guess the conservative talent pool in Orange County is getting thin.
