This came over in the morning from the Jeff Miller for Assembly campaign:
Pro-Family Leader Gail Knight Endorses Jeff Miller for Assembly
Sponsor of November Initiative to Protect Marriage says Miller Needed in Assembly
Mission Viejo, CA -- Within minutes of the California Supreme Court's ruling today overturning Proposition 22 -- the Defense of Marriage Act, Assembly Republican candidate Jeff Miller received the endorsement today of Mrs. Gail Knight, the widow of the late Senator Pete Knight, author of Proposition 22, and one of California's leading pro-family advocates.
Gail Knight is co-sponsor of the Marriage Protection Initiative expected to qualify for the November ballot.
"Jeff Miller's commitment to protecting families and our values is clear," said Gail Knight. "We need Jeff Miller in Sacramento fighting against the unending assault on marriage and families."
Miller is the leading Republican candidate running in the 71st District primary. In addition to Gail Knight, Miller has been endorsed by a host of conservative groups and GOP leaders, including the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, the California Republican Assembly, Californians Against Illegal Immigration, United States Congressman Ed Royce and Assemblyman Mike Duvall.
"I am so grateful for the work Gail Knight has done over the years to protect traditional marriage and family values in California," said Miller. "There is no question or doubt on where I stand on these issues and I pledge to fight for them in Sacramento. The Supreme Court is wrong and the will of the people clear. I will not rest until marriage is protected in California."

This is an impressive - and very timely - endorsement for Jeff Miller. I am impressed he was able to snag an endorsement like this so fast in the wake of today's court ruling.
Just another example of the Miller political machine patting themselves on the back for something completely inconsequential and irrelevant to the real issues.
