Orange City Firefighters Back Mayor Jeff Miller in 71st Assembly District
Mission Viejo, CA -- Jeff Miller's campaign for the Republican nomination in the 71st Assembly District continued its front running momentum with another key Orange County endorsement, the Orange City Firefighters Association.
"Mayor Miller's experience leading a city with large exposure to wildfires, and wisely using his resources to proactively protect his city, proves he is the leader we need in Sacramento," said Dave Hoff, PAC Chair of the Orange City Firefighters.
"The City of Orange, like Corona, Anaheim, and many of the cities in the 71st Assembly District, face many of the same challenges, and when I get to Sacramento, I will represent all of the communities of this district," said Miller. "It is an honor to have the men and women who keep Orange safe during wildfires, medical emergencies, and disasters, support my campaign."I can't say I ever see an endorsement like that and think, "Excellent! He's got a union endorsement!"
Taken in combination with Rep. Ed Royce, Assemblyman Mike Duvall and Anaheim Mayor Curt Pringle, the Orange City Firefighters Association's endorsement helps communicate to voters in every city in the 71st Assembly District that Jeff Miller is the only candidate with district-wide support.
"As this race comes into sharp focus, we are very pleased to have the endorsement of over 70,000 firefighters, police officers, and sheriffs," said Dave Gilliard, consultant to Jeff Miller. "Jeff's experience and hard work on the campaign trail have made him the only candidate with district-wide appeal and the voters clearly understand that."
