Immigration Reform Group Endorses Jeff Miller
Californians Against Illegal Immigration President Says Miller Needed in Sacramento
MISSION VIEJO, CA -- Californians Against Illegal Immigration has endorsed Jeff Miller for Assembly in the 71st District Primary.
"Jeff Miller co-wrote the Republican Party's platform against amnesty and he has worked hard as a local Mayor to have his city assist federal immigration officers in the battle against illegal immigration," said CAII President Marie Waldron, who also serves as a Councilwoman in Escondido. "As a Councilwoman myself, I know first-hand the devastating impact of illegal immigration on local government budgets. That's why I strongly endorse Jeff Miller - he understands the problem and has a plan to fix it," concluded Waldron.
In addition to Californians Against Illegal Immigration, Jeff Miller is endorsed by the author of Proposition 187, Senator Dick Mountjoy; Friends of the Border Patrol President Andy Ramirez; and Congressman Ed Royce, Chair of the House Subcommittee on International Terrorism.
"Illegal immigration costs California taxpayers over $10 billion each and every year and the state needs to do its part to stop the influx of illegal aliens," said Miller.
Miller is a local mayor, former County Republican Party Chairman and the author of the Republican Party's platform against amnesty for illegal aliens. He is running for the Assembly in the 71st District of Orange and Riverside Counties.

Just remember that Neil Blais has both fromer Sheriff Mike C and Homosexual Republicans behind him. Nice try Miller, but no Republicans voting the June care about immigration reform.
No Supporting gay marriage and adoption are the hot issues for Republican voters this June. Blais is on the right track.
I'm not sure if you were being facetious with your comments, but illegal immigration is my number one issue on June 3rd. I'll be voting for Miller.
Rampant population growth threatens our economy and quality of life. Immigration, both legal and illegal, are fueling this growth. I'm not talking just about the obvious problems that we see in the news - growing dependence on foreign oil, carbon emissions, soaring commodity prices, environmental degradation, etc. I'm talking about the effect upon rising unemployment and poverty in America.
I should introduce myself. I am the author of a book titled "Five Short Blasts: A New Economic Theory Exposes The Fatal Flaw in Globalization and Its Consequences for America." To make a long story short, my theory is that, as population density rises beyond some optimum level, per capita consumption of products begins to decline out of the need to conserve space. People who live in crowded conditions simply don’t have enough space to use and store many products. This declining per capita consumption, in the face of rising productivity (per capita output, which always rises), inevitably yields rising unemployment and poverty.
This theory has huge implications for U.S. policy toward population management, especially immigration policy. Our policies of encouraging high rates of immigration are rooted in the belief of economists that population growth is a good thing, fueling economic growth. Through most of human history, the interests of the common good and business (corporations) were both well-served by continuing population growth. For the common good, we needed more workers to man our factories, producing the goods needed for a high standard of living. This population growth translated into sales volume growth for corporations. Both were happy.
But, once an optimum population density is breached, their interests diverge. It is in the best interest of the common good to stabilize the population, avoiding an erosion of our quality of life through high unemployment and poverty. However, it is still in the interest of corporations to fuel population growth because, even though per capita consumption goes into decline, total consumption still increases. We now find ourselves in the position of having corporations and economists influencing public policy in a direction that is not in the best interest of the common good.
The U.N. ranks the U.S. with eight other countries - India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Bangladesh, Uganda, Ethiopia and China - as accounting for fully half of the world’s population growth by 2050. The U.S. is the only developed country still experiencing third world-like population growth, most of which is due to immigration. It's absolutely imperative that our population be stabilized, and that's impossible without dramatically reining in immigration, both legal and illegal.
If you’re interested in learning more about this important new economic theory, I invite you to visit my web site at OpenWindowPublishingCo.com where you can read the preface for free, join in my blog discussion and, of course, purchase the book if you like. (It's also available at Amazon.com.)
Please forgive the somewhat "spammish" nature of the previous paragraph. I just don't know how else to inject this new perspective into the immigration debate without drawing attention to the book that explains the theory.

Thank you for articulating the Sierra Club's position. They are really relevant in a GOP primary.
Growth is good. It leads to more prosperity and a better quality of life.
Breaking the law is bad. As is leaving our border open in an age of Islamic fascism and loose nuclear weapons.

Your views are full of doom and gloom. Fly over California and see how empty the state is. The binational paradigm of all government levels in the U.S. support economic growth otherwise this massive economic engine which is the U.S. would stagnate. Let the world's best and brightest come to the U.S. under legal immigration. Too many quotas and processing delays taking years with respect to immigration are mitigating growth. End your xenophobia and support comprehensive immigration reform.
Neil's Mike Carona endorsement is looking better by the day.
I hear the Blais Carona connections will be hitting mailboxs early next week just as the VBM ballots arrive.
You would think that Neil would be smart enough to put out a release distancing himself from Sheriff Mike, but I guess he is still proud to stand by the "pinhole in the ceiling" Sheriff.
So many of the Miller supporters seem to be filled with hate. Why is that?
Lighten up everyone. Life is too good to go around hating everyone and everything.
