We are in the process of recruiting for the Office of Independent Review. Alternatively, as links don't always work, go to the County's website at ocgov.com and click on "Departments & Agencies," then go to "Related Life Events" and click on "Find a County Job." The position is on the second page (Executive Director of the Office of Inde...).And the lucky winner's compensation package?:
If you or someone you know is qualified to assume this position, please pass this information along to them.
Acting Sheriff Jack Anderson has elected to retain Michael Gennaco in the interim. The tragedy of Mr. Gomez' death will allow all of us to witness the efficacy of this new protocol. After witnessing the failure to follow protocol in the Chamberlain death, it has been refreshing to see a new attitude in proper procedures and transparency from our Acting Sheriff.

Better sign up now before Moorlach tries to whack that retirement package. I also like the fact that Moorlach never misses an opportunity to gush about Anderson.
