Breaking news on the Irvine Tattler at www.irvinetattler.com ... FAA documents obtained by the Tattler through a FOIA request show that the "independent" investigator hired by the City of Irvine to investigate allegations of Great Park Balloon mismanagement was actually a lawyer they'd used to get their operating permit from the FAA. During the investigation, the FAA found that the operating permit he'd filed had bad info and so they cancelled the balloon's license!
