Chapman University
Kennedy Hall 237B
Morley Winograd and Michael D. Hais
"The authors of the new book Millennial Makeover: MySpace, YouTube and the Future of American Politics, Morley Winograd and Michael D. Hais, point out that the so-called millennial generation (dating from 1982) is the largest in American history, boomers included, and that roughly 40 percent of it is African-American, Latino, Asian or racially mixed. One in five millennials has an immigrant parent. It's this generation that is fueling the excitement and some of the record turnout of the Democratic primary campaign, and not just for Mr. Obama."
-- Frank Rich, The New York Times
"Here is an insightful - and provocative look at the future of American politics. It will delight some people and startle others but it will leave no one unmoved."
--David S. Broder, The Washington Post
Admission is free and open to the public and the Chapman community. The book Millennial Makeover can be purchased in advance at the Agora Gift Shop in Argyos Forum, or at the event.
