Log Cabin Club Endorses Harry Sidhu for State Senate

So today they announced the endorsement of Harry Sidhu instead of Mimi Walters for State Senate.
Many of their endorsements raise question marks. Especially those of lawmakers that have voted against their agenda.
But newcomers to the state political scene will need to explain in GOP Primaries why they got this endorsement.Especially in districts like the 33rd that clearly support marriage as between one man and one woman at one time. The OC is not SF.

Odd post.
Somehow Mike missed the other candidates who were "endorsed": Tony Strickland, George Runner, Mike Villines, Jim Silva, Neil Blais, and Diane Harkey to name a few.
Who knows where they came up with any of these endorsements...
So when can we expect the announcement that the Log Cabin Club endorses Van Tran?
I understand Harry went for the interview and Mimi took a pass. Wonder what Harry promised them?
Give it a break, Anonymous. This group had no interviews. Stop the spin.
Went to the link in this post. Looks like it says Neutral on Mimi Walters. Post it like it is Mike.
At the bottom of the page where they endorse Harry they also come out NO on the marriage initiative on the Nov. ballot. Will Harry disavow this endorsement, or will he pull an Obama and try to have it both ways?
"Neutral" means neutral. That's much less than an endorsement. They probably support Mimi's strong fiscal conservatism, but oppose her social conservatism. And, it's not like they can come out "Opposed" to an incumbent Republican Assemblywoman. At the end of the day, they're a "Republican" organization.
Just a thought: could this have something to do with "Gay Day" at Disneyland and Sidhu's mouseketeer lint bath?
I am suprised that they didn't endorse Mimi, though. That haircut makes me wonder, sometimes.
But she has taken a "wide stance" against gay marriage.
I have always found the existance of the Log Cabin Club very confusing. A Gay Republican organiation? Ok, it is their right. But it just seems that they would be more fitting as Moderate Democrats instead of Republicans. And why on earth would anyone who claims to be a "Conservative" Republican (Sidhu) even wish to vye for this groups endorsement? Unless it comes with a ton of money in Donations I just dont see the point. Or, it may be an attempt to move the GOP back o the Goldwater definition of "Conservative". I happen to be much in favor of the Goldwater model of conservatism myslef. And I am a Democrat.
Join my new group, Gay Goldwater Democrats for Harry!
A Republican friend once asked me why so many gay people, including those who fit the Republican demographic to a "T", are Democrats. I gave a long involved answer.
Now I have a new way of answering. I'll bookmark this post and send them to it. Thanks, Mike.
HARRY PROMISED THEM THE AMERICAN DREAM
Give Mike a break, he hates the gays and Sidhu. Its not a suprise he would twist the truth to try and negativly impact both of them.
Since he is Joel Anderson's Chief of Staff, do you think he is supposed to be blogging in the middle of the day? According to Assembly Rules, employee hours are from 9-5 including a paid lunch. This is to avoid people doing political work "at lunch".
I would think the President of the CRA would be hard at work making sure he isn't wasting MY TAX dollars.
Spence is an over paid part-time chief of staff, so he isn't 9 to 5.
