Guess Who's Running Hoa Van Tran's Campaign?

I rolled over to Hoa Van Tran for Supervisor headquarters earlier today. I wanted to get as much of a sense of the seriousness of the effort as one can from eyeballing the HQ, and also talk to the campaign manager about having Hoa on Red County Radio.
The campaign headquarters is on the second floor of the Catinat Plaza, a newish shopping center in little Saigon. It 's a few doors down from "Tony Lam, CPA" (I don't know if it is that Tony Lam).
It's a good size HQ, and was staffed by two elderly Vietnamese, another middle-age Vietnamese lady and a pleasant young Anglo gal named Courtney who said she was a broadcast journalism major. There campaign signs plastered on the walls and a small stack of precinct kits atop the reception desk. Tacked onto a bulletin board in the back was a letter from the AOCDS inviting Hoa Van Tran in for an interview, as well as a KC Jones for Judge brochure. Plus, stacks of glossy, four-color, expensive-looking campaign business cards festooned with two photos of Hoa.
I asked for the campaign manager, Edgardo, and was told he'd be there soon. I went to the Window Caffe a few doors away to grab some joe, which was so strong you could unclog drains with it.
I went back and waited for Edgardo, who was apparently still just moments away. And waited.
Other appointments called, so I gave Courtney my contact info and asked if Edgardo could call me.
Who is this Edgardo? He's Edgardo Reynoso, formerly the field director for the Democratic Party of Orange County until about a year ago.
He's also the brother-in-law of Sen. Lou Correa. And interestingly, Sen. Correa has not endorsed Hoa. Actually, as far as I know, none of central OC's partisan elected Dems -- Correa, Rep. Loretta Sannchez or Assemblyman Jose Solorio -- have endorsed the lone Democratic candidate for the central OC supervisor seat.
And I'm still waiting for Edgardo to call me.

It looks like Phu Do Nguyen (or Do Phu?) is the new Treasurer for the Dina Nguyen campaign.
Does this mean that Hoa Van Tran's boss is working for Dina?
Or is Dina working for Phu Do Nguyen (or Do Phu?)?
Or is is it "Tina" Nguyen?
Or both?!?!?
Has there been any time in which so many aliases were used and there were so many professional connection between two "competing" candidates for county supervisor?

I don't know where you get that. Dina Nguyen has hired the highly competent Lysa Ray as her treasurer.

Phu Do Nguyen is the treasurer for Hoa's campaign, signing his name to Hoa's initial financial disclosure. Phu's mom gave Hoa $100.
So is Phu Do Nguyen Dina's boss and Hoa Van Tran's campaign treasurer?

Edgardo Reynoso is one sketchy guy. I'm surprised he's still around Orange County after what he did at the DPOC. The sleeze factor of Hoa Van Tran just went up a couple notches in my book.

The Tina you saw on that web page is, well, Tina, not Dina.

You know if you make an allegation about being someone being sleazy you need to provide the facts. You wrote that Edgardo was not nice at the DPOC please give details.
Dear Bill Clinton:
Bill, you of all people should know that sleazy people are especially adept at hiding their sleazy lies; interpretation of what the meaning of "is" is; etc. Unless blue dresses are produced almost anyone can hide things about their past...you Bill should know this. But in the end, people will know by your actions what you are. Besides, no one has provided any "facts" about 99% of the allegations made against Janet Nguyen and lots of people on this blog find no problem with that.

Its absurd for those people to think that Dina Nguyen works for Phu Nguyen...Let me make this more clear...Dina has never worked for Mr. Nguyen's firm...this I know for a fact. And for those of you out there who is trying to create a "conspiracy" story among these candidates...GET a life.
Who / Where does Dina work then?
Edgardo Reynoso he is not good to work for campaigns because if you want to keep your volunteers around until the end you need to hired somebody else.
