I worked for San Clemente Police Department before it was a Sheriff's Station. I am a deputy now.
Jack Anderson has no leadership or vision for our Department. He seems to posture and try to do things to improve his terrible image. The deputies and citizens feel he is a disaster.
Bill Hunt is another person who should not come back. He did an OK job but he does not have the experience to run the Department. His lawsuit is going to cost our county and OCSD millions of dollars. Thanks Bill.
Most deputies feel we need an outsider with experience. I think Ralph Martin would be that person. We would get a new vision, someone not tainted by our system, a person that does not need to posture. From Mr. Martin's resume' he has done more in the past ten years in leadership, that both Jack and Bill have done in their whole careers.
I hope they bring Ralph Martin on as our new Sheriff.
