Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association Endorses Blais for AssemblyAs has been mentioned before, the HJTA has also endorsed Neil Blais' opponent, Jeff Miller.
(Rancho Santa Margarita) - Further strengthening his record of fighting for California's taxpayers, today Neil Blais announced the endorsement of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association in his race for the open 71st Assembly District.
"Neil Blais has been a good friend of taxpayers and is committed to fighting higher taxes and strengthening private property rights." said Jon Coupal, President of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association.
Howard Jarvis joins OC Tax PAC, and a host of pro-taxpayer endorsements for Neil Blais, including Orange County Supervisors John Moorlach, Pat Bates, Chris Norby, and Bill Campbell.
Neil's eight-year record on the Rancho Santa Margarita City Council testifies to his tough position on limited government and his support of free enterprise. Because of fiscal and small government restraint, the RSM City Council can discuss a tax rebate while other cities in the district discuss budget cuts.
Neil Blais is currently serving his second term as Mayor of Rancho Santa Margarita, where he's earned a reputation for being a champion of conservative causes. Neil is a member of the Lincoln Club of Orange County, which is the most active and largest political club in the United States fighting to reduce the power and scope of government and pushing for lower taxes.

Blais has no class. The Miller press release from several weeks ago noted that HJTA issued a "dual endorsement" but Blais left that out of his release, which was old news anyway.
Neil. A basic rule here.
When in your last press release you begin a sentence, "There's a reason why Howard Jarvis Taxpayers..." it's not a good idea to then send out a press release a week later to "announce" their support for you.
One goes before the other, and you had a 50/50 chance of choosing the right way of doing it.
And as the old guy said in Indiana Jones, you chose poorly.
