AD60 Watch: Hagman Campaign Polling On His, Opponents Strengrhs/Weaknesses
Posted by: Jubal | 04/07/2008 5:15 PM
From what I could gather from my soon to be high school graduate daughter, the purpose of the poll was the gauge the vulnerabilities and strengths of both the Chino Hills councilman and his opponent, Municipal Water District of Orange County Director Larry Dick. There were a lot of "Would you be more or less likely to vote for Larry Dick/Curt Hagmann if you knew [insert strength or liability here]..."
For example, near the end of the poll Jubalette #2 was asked about Curt Hagman's occupation as a bail bondsman, conventionally seen as a negative. It was something along the lines: "Mr. Smith says he doesn't like that Curt Hagman is bail bondsman because he's helping put criminals on the street. Mr. Jones says it doesn't matter to him because Hagman is just a businessman providing a service. Do you agree more with Mr. Smith or Mr. Jones?"
No doubt the Hagman campaign is digesting the results and strategizing which arrows in their quiver will cut Larry Dick most deeply, and which of Larry Dick's missiles they should be most apprehensive about.

I agree with Mr Smith.
Good luck with that.
Mr. Jones must have been in jail at one time.
How do you know it was Hagman and not Larry Dick who paid for the poll? I got the same call this weekend but there were a heck of a lot more negative questions about Hagman than about Dick.
Or, maybe it was Nate Mitchell. lol
