Update On Dina Nguyen Campaign Report

I called Dina Nguyen campaign factotum Truong Diep to find out what the deal was with this over-reporting of a campaign contribution.
According to Truong, it's a simple reporting error. The Dalat Supermarket contribution of $1,000 was reported as $1,600, and a $1,600 contribution (Truong thought it was from Travelodge Westminster HB) was under-reported as $1,000.
In other words, it was a transposition, but the total contributions amount is the same.
I was told Dina's campaign is hiring a professional campaign treasurer -- smart move, and something that should have been in place at the get-go.
So, this is another hiccup, or the beginning of something more? Stay tuned and we'll find out.
UPDATE: Peggy Lowe reports Lysa Ray will take over treasurer responsibilities for the Dina Nguyen campaign.

Empty accusations and rants get you no where. You sounded very much like Janet Nguyen when she's frustrated.
Janet Nguyen is scared to death with this upcoming election and t's written on her face and yelling with her action. Don't perpetuate this paranoia on the blog. If you are going to lose, at least do so with some dignity, Janet NGuyen.

We are getting tired of your blogs. You attack with out any facts or logic. You sounded like a loser and a whiner on behalf of Janet Nguyen. You are frustrated because Dina is make huge progress in the District and you are afraid. It is clearly evident in your post.
Janet Nguyen has so many political enemies because she betrayed those who helped her. The people are speaking up and seeing the real Janet.
Get over it and get with the program. Going through life like this will only bring Janet more trouble and problems, as she is facing now.

I grew up in this town and used to love and proud of Little Saigon but becuase of people like VAN TRAN and his folowers I am so sick of this town now. I dont' even dine there eventhough I love Pho, I drive 20 min. down to HB just for a bowl of Pho by the pier now. You boys really need to learn to get along with people if you can't, get out to the desert, buy yourself a piece of land and build your own Little Saigon and run it however you like!!! You should know that as long as Janet Nguyen behaves the way she is now, she will continue to bring problems and trouble for herself. Don't blame it on Team Tran or anyone else for her misbehavior.
We have an open political system in this country, in case you have not known. If Janet Nguyen acted like "which that rhymes with an itch", then her opponents will continue to give her problems every step of the way. She only has herself to blame. Her dumb advisors and sycophants make things worse for her.

With regards to the comment regarding Janet's brother serving the military- that is irrelevant b/c did Janet serve- NO.
New and upcoming candidate HOA VAN TRAN is truly ideal and more than qualified to be OC's next supervisor. From what I've heard, HVT served our COUNTRY when he served in IRAQ- now he truly is a war hero...In my mind if he's good enough to serve our COUNTRY- HE IS DEFINATELY qualified and capable of serving our COUNTY.
dina has been a Trannies from day one. If it werent' for them she wouldn't get elected her first try to council. She is definitely linked to Quach. Dina is also a PAWN put up by the Trannies, we see right through that, Dina is just wasting our money for this campaign so that Van Tran could get even with Janet. I agreed with you on one point, HOA TRAN served our country and served us well, he would definitely qualified for the position... so it's between Janet and Hoa as I see it.
