This came over yesterday from the Harry Sidhu for Senate campaign:
O.C. COPS ENDORSE HARRY SIDHU FOR STATE SENATE
Anaheim, CA - City Councilman and 33rd State Senate District Candidate Harry Sidhu announced that he has received the endorsement of the Orange County Coalition of Police and Sheriffs (O.C. Cops). The O.C. Cops coalition is comprised of public safety associations representing more than 2,500 deputy sheriffs and police officers throughout Orange County.
O.C. Cops Chairman Greg Palmer stated that, "We appreciate Harry's values and his record of support for public safety. On behalf of O.C. Cops, we look forward to his victory in the June 3rd 2008 Primary Campaign for the office of State Senate District 33."
"I am honored to be law enforcement's choice for the open 33rd State Senate District seat," said Councilman Sidhu. "Protecting and keeping our neighborhoods and schools safe has always been one of my top priorities as an elected representative. I look forward to continuing to support public safety as a State Senator in Sacramento."
Harry Sidhu was elected to the Anaheim City Council in 2004. The O.C Cops Coalition endorsement solidifies Councilman Sidhu's position as a leading state senate public safety candidate.

Good for Harry.
Yeah law and order is a safe issue, but Sidhu better be careful not to solidify a reputation of being the the pocket of the unions. His endorsements so far betray a soft spot of his for unions.
Watch out... Gina Zari is going to explode!
LOL! If that's her, she has a point.
Law and order is Coronado Communications's modus operandi. Remember Tom Harman's contested primary against Harkey? It was all law and order, all the time. And liberal Republican organizations of one member faking it as conservative Republican organizations.
One wonders if Dichiara and Jacobs have anything more and if we'll see that creepy, child pedophile-looking guy (Mark Herrick or Mark Porter?) endorse Sidhu on behalf of the "California Republican League" once again in response to the CRA.

I found "Fremont" comments about the Harman race a bit off.
I got the mail. I don't know that I got a single piece from the campaign about law and order. Almost all of it was about taxes and illegal immigration.
I live in a pure REP household. The taxes and illegal immigration pieces were from Harkey. Harman was gitting hit on his diaper tax proposal and his vote in favor of resident college tuition rates for illegals. The law and order mail pieces were from Harman. From what I recall, Fremont is correct.
Grant is clearly from the Coronado Communications office or has only been looking at the consultants' website. NEWSFLASH: Those are just four of the many pro-Harman mail pieces that were in mailboxes in that special election.
Look, this race is fundamentally different than the Harkey-Harman contest. However, I agree with the premise of what has been said already, that we can look at consultants' work and attempt to establish a pattern of behavior. All of these guys have multiple clients and do not have the time to come up with novel tactics for running every race every election cycle.
