Daily News Roundup - 2008

Three new stories on the Irvine Tattler:
* Former Larry Agran treasurer Renita Lloyd-Smith has disappeared in the face of a potential $4 million fine from the City of Los Angeles.
* The Irvine Sister Cities Foundation votes to stand firm after Agran, Mayor Beth Krom and Councilman Sukhee Kang yanked their funding in (alleged) retaliation for exposing the 2006 scheme to create a sister city relationship with the Xuhui District on mainland China while agreeing to no longer recognize the government of their prior sister city in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
* Krom claims Tattler publisher Stephen Smith (that's me) tried to "defame, distort and distract" by submitting an opposition statement to her $200,000 special election in June.
All that and more at www.irvinetattler.com.
This is interesting information.
Renita LLoyd-Smith is currently working at St. Monica Catholic Church. The main telephone number is (310)566-1500, and the address is 725 California Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90403.
