Now designated Measure H, Irvine's June 3 election asking voters to approve an ordinance already on the books for more than two years has its ballot arguments ...
In actuality, many of its provisions have already been state law for many years.
Also missing is the context for that late 2005 proposal.
A series of articles in OC Weekly and other papers questioned the integrity of Mayor Krom and her City Council allies, Larry Agran and Sukhee Kang ...
Proposing ordinances regulating "ethics" and "lobbyists" was viewed by me as an attempt to create a political "fig leaf."
