Is Janet Nguyen Recruiting Long Pham to Run Against Van Tran?

Well the fun never stops when it comes to the Janet Nguyen vs. Van Tran battle. According to a little bird down at the Registrar of Voters office today, Janet and her husband Tom were huddled up right before 5:00pm with Tran's 2006 GOP Primary opponent, Long Pham. The irony is overwhelming. According to several sources who have asked to remain anonymous, part of the falling out between Tran and Janet had to do with Janet's paranoia that Long Pham was going to run for Tran's Assembly seat if Tran declared he was running for the State Senate seat Joe Dunn had just vacated (kind of silly in hindsight since Pham ran against Tran the next cycle). Since Janet was so ambitious and naive, she declared for Tran's Assembly seat before he announced he was vacating it - in hopes of getting the jump on Pham.
The result was the final nail in the coffin of what started as a mentor/student relationship.
The first rift happened when Janet, at Tony Lam's behest (pictured below), at the time still a member of Team Tran, decided to backstab Van and fellow Vietnamese Republican Andy Quach, who was running for Westminster Mayor against Margie Rice. Janet was running for Tran's vacated Garden Grove city council seat with Van's help, while he was in a cakewalk for the 68th AD General Election.
In typical Janet modus operandi, she decided to "play both sides", accepting all of Team Tran's help, while at the same time feeding critical inside the campaign information about Andy Quach to his opponent, Margie Rice.
Something for those GOPers calling for party unity to remember as they watch Tran try to un-do the Frankenstein he helped to create.
I guess the rule applies, that the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and so Janet and Long Pham could be trying to give Tran a small primary challenge. Frankly, I think all that would accomplish would be to help Van's fundraising for the primary.Keep in mind that Long Pham was pounced by Van Tran last time around, 87.3% to 12.7%. He has been a perenial candidate since 1996. He has run for Newport Beach City Council, the State Senate, and he even challenged Dana Rohrabacher in the primary before running against Tran.
This possible run, as instigated by Janet and Long Pham, would serve only to harass and further divide the OCGOP as everyone knows that this is a suicide run usually reserved for token Democratic candidates.
Still, I can't wait to see how it all shakes out tomorrow at the ROV...

I'm pretty surethe post says "Is Janet Nguyen Recruiting Long Pham to Run Against Van Tran?" not "Janet Nguyen Is Recruiting Long Pham to Run Against Van Tran!!!!!"
But either way, I don't think what office Long Pham runs for changes Janet's past betrayals.
I'm just glad the truth about Janet's backstabbing of everyone who has tryed to help her is finally out there.
Its good to see someone post an entry that doesnt have a bone to pick. Sheesh. I forget who it was who posted before, but they were right regarding the Tran/Nguyen partisans. Poisonous to the party. All of them. I cant wait until the Vietnamese vote is split 4-ways and a fairly unassuming Democrat re-takes the 1st Supervisorial seat. This is ripe for the taking by the Dems. Sad thing is they all deserve it.
What also is sad is that im a lifelong republican, and i would love to see them all lose. It is people like them who make me re-look at the reasons i am part of this party and wonder if this is the same party i joined when i was 18. Don't get me wrong, i am a conservative in all aspects, and I'm never going to vote Dem as far as i could ever see, but i definitely wont vote for any of the candidates involved in this trash. Grow up already and start acting like adults for a change! Our elected officials are supposed to be respected leaders of our communities. As far as i am concerned, none of the trannies or Nguyen's deserve anyones respect, because they haven't proven that they are grown up enough to deserve it. Nor are they leaders.

Brock Landers, I feel the same way and you can blame me as well for your disappointment......... I didn't know better then.......... I supported Janet in the beginning without deep considerations.
However, when the sun goes down we can always wait for the new sun to rise and hopefully we will make less mistakes in the future.

Long Pham and Janet Nguyen and crew, ie. Nick Le Cong and Andrew Do have been seen with each other and working with each other in a number of events in the Viet community for many months now. Janet and Long have been cooking up all kinds of things in the Viet community, mistakenly thinking that observers don't know what deeds they are up to.
What is sad for Janet is that the people she congregate with are people who are either disillusioned or frustrated with their career paths. Talk to Tony Lam, Nick Le Cong and Andrew Do, among many others, and get their background and you will see that these people have one axe or another to grind. It's very sad for all of them and negative. Politics should not be this way.
What is Long Pham and Janet Nguyen and their advisors thinking? Do they want to initiate the nuclear option and get the fall out?
Is that what Janet has been doing??? That 2 faced beep...I hope Andy wins this year...as for Long Pham, what a joke...he needs to quietly remove himself from the political arena...

Uh....how about the part that says that Long Pham is running against Tran??? Seems to be inaccurate to me. Take some responsibility for your posts and when you are called out and shown you are wrong, admit it or go away.

Let me clarify something for you.
The title of my post was "Is Janet Nguyen Recruiting Long Pham to Run Against Van Tran?"
If I knew for a FACT that it was true, I would have phrased it as a statment, not a question.
Now, I DID make various accusations in my post. One of them is the fact that Janet backstabbed Van and other Republicans during Andy Quach's mayoral run.
So far her consultant, Adam, has given NO response to that charge. He has clarified that she is not involved in recruiting Long Pham but he has taken NO steps to correct my accusations.
Don't you think he would have addressed those claims at the same time he addressed the title of my post if what I wrote was inaccurate?

Your new blogger "Viorel" clearly does not meet the past standards of your blogpen. And I know we have had some back and forth on the merits of pseudonyms and my support of them. But when an author is going to be making unsubstantiated allegations or at best gossipy innuendo's they should put a name next to it!
You can call me on this too, if I ever go after someone with gossip I will place my name next to it, you have my word on it!

To Viorel - Andy Quach didn't need Janet to "backstab" him as you put it. He did a real number on himself when he sent out flier with pictures of Margie Rice looking mean, pointing her finger, and had rude and unsubstantiated comments about her on those mailers; in addition they created such a stir in Westminster that people that would have voted and planned to vote for Andy ended up voting for Margie because they thought it was a sleazy move for him to do that. Those mailers went out and landed in people's mailboxes and Margie had no time to respond to them. She didn't play dirty and he did. That's what lost him the election.

How about the fact you posted about Mr. Pham's supposed scheming with Janet to run against Tran. You did not even make the effort to find out that he had already filed for Board of Education. Not very credible!

If you see Janet huddled up in the corner of the ROV the day before filing with Tran's 2006 opponent, you wouldn't also ask the question Viorel did "Is Janet Nguyen Recruiting Long Pham to Run Against Van Tran?"
The heart of the matter are Janet's betrayals and her supporters seem to be doing everything possible to dance around the issue.
I don't think all the mudslinging at Tran or Quach can make OC Republicans forget those real accusations!!!!

Oh, Legit. Don't forget that Janet Nguyen also stuck a knife into Dina as well, for no apparent reason other than petty jealousy and insecurity.
The story goes like this: Back in the days of early 2006, Councilman Mark Rosen attempted to elevate his Rec and Park Commissioner, Dina Nguyen, to the Planning Commission. Guess who blocked it (hint: a certain Viet Councilwoman)? All of this is public record. Rosen ended up nominating someone else because he could not get Dina appointed.
The second Janet knife came when Dina Nguyen ran for city council in late 2006 and held a fundraiser at Azteca, a Mexican restaurant on Main Street in GG. Words from several reliable sources inside Azteca confirmed that the owner of Azteca cancelled the event for Dina after he got a threatening phone call from Janet. The fundraiser was eventually held at another venue across the street and was very successful despite the last minute change and hassles. Bear in mind that at this time Dina Nguyen did not do a single thing to provoke or alienate Janet, but she got the knife from Janet anyway.
The third Janet knife came for Dina when she filed for the GGCC. There was another Viet candidate by the name of "An Le" , who also filed for CC, but did not do a single thing to campaign. An investigation of this mysterious "An Le" indicated that this person is most likely related or affiliated with Nick Le Cong, Janet's high priest and advisor, although he of course denied it when confronted, despite the evidence.
An Le was inserted into the GGCC race to split the Viet vote but she ended up last among all candidates, and Dina being the top vote getter.
There is a bold pattern that Janet owns a whole drawer of sharp knives and she regularly pull them out against her opponents, real or imagined.
One more reason why the Viet electeds stay away from this girl for fear of getting stabbed.

And if you talk to "Lawyer" Nick Le Cong or the hired-gun Andrew Do they would not admit their boss' frequent back stabbing. They think highly of her like Mother Teresa. It sounds like Madonna's Like a Virgin, but it ain't so.

Let's be blunt since you ask some blunt questions.
In the Asian tradition, "Girl" used in this context refers to a young female who is deemed as disrespectful and possesses a conduct unbecoming a gentlewoman, and devoid of any courtesy to others.
If you understand the Viet language and listens to Janet speak her native language, her accent came out sounding like a Chinese person speaking Vietnamese. Rough analogy, an American speaking English but sounded like a New Zealander.
Can we elevate the conversation from name calling please?
Janet has enough real policy problems with Republicans that no one should bother with this childish name calling.
I want to know why her consultant responded and denied the charges about Long Pham in about an hour and yet 2 days later, he hasn't offered one denial of Janet's betrayals.
Also, why are groups like OCTax and OC Lincoln Club supporting someone who undercuts other Republicans in Central OC and gives $100,000 in taxpayer funds to Jose Solario to direct to Santa Ana Zoo for an ANTEATER.
