CRA County Convention: Rosie Avila Gets the CRA Nod

The first race up for consideration is CD 47, currently occupied by Democratic Rep. Loretta Sanchez. The Republican standard-bearer for this seat is Santa Ana Unified School District Trustee Rosie Avila.
Facing no Republican opposition, Rosie was endorsed by the CRA without any rancor. Rosie thinks she can pull off a victory against Loretta and I wish her good luck. Here is her 4-minute speech to the CRA delegates:

If Rosie seriously thinks she can take out Loretta, I think you guys ought to send her out for a drug test.
I agree with Art. You know things are bad for the grand Old Party when their candidate gives a 4 minute speech before the CRA and mentions not Ronald Reagan, not Barry Goldwater, not George Bush, not even Chuck Devore. But instead the GOP candidate mentions favorably Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. it's gonna be a tough year for the Reds.

Wow, kind of sounds like Tim Whitacre. Although, Art has never backstabbed anybody.
So, does Art stabs people in the front?
We really need to vote for the right person to be in Congress especially for the 47th District here in California. Liberal Loretta Sanchez has not done her job. Rosie Avila has proven herself of being a great leader and mentor for a lot of us. She has help mentor kids to keep from joining gangs by providing after school activities for them. She has provided leadership for the kids and has accountability partners for them to help the kids do the right thing and stay out of jail. Through her Non Profit organization she has provided a wrestling club, skateboarding club and a boxing club to name a few. She has created a domino effect in our community to have ordinary people get involve in helping her in the cause of helping each other. Leadership like this is priceless and we must recognize the importance of having someone who cares and understands the people living in the 47th district. We must recognize these great things and nominate her as the one to represent us as our Congress leader. I am fully confident she will be a great person for the position to voice our opinions as a community as being one. We need to resolve the energy crises we are having. We need someone to voice the importance of education with experience. Vote for Rosie Avila - God Bless America!
