Another Debbie Cook Lawsuit Update

He said Cook attorney's Mark Rosen and Fred Woocher filed two motions: one against the deposition, and the other saying the trial has to be held in Sacramento. Regarding the latter, Schroeder said that's only the case if the lawsuit had named the Secretary of State, which it does not.
When I asked him about the opposition's concern that a deposition would turn into a fishing expedition, Schroeder replied that Judge Lewis limited the deposition subject matter the issue at hand: whether Cook can use "Mayor, City of Huntington Beach" as her ballot title.
Schroeder expects the Appeals Court to rule on Team Cook's deposition motion by noon tomorrow, and if the ruling goes his way he could be taking Cook's deposition by tomorrow afternoon.
The trial is currently set the Wednesday morning in Judge Gregory Lewis's courtroom, C26.

"...and if the ruling goes his way he could be taking Cook's deposition by tomorrow afternoon."
Yes...and when pigs fly, we will all catch our breakfast with a butterfly net.
