This came over the transom earlier today from Larry Dick for Assembly:
Larry Dick Out Raises Opponent, Again
Larry Dick has $310,708.65, cash on hand
Hagman continues to burn through money at a high rate
(Orange) Conservative candidate Larry Dick out raised his opponent again for the second consecutive reporting period. Larry Dick raised $23,225.00 compared to Curt Hagman $11,673.92. Larry has $310,708.65 cash on hand compared to his opponent $275,036.90
At the first reporting period, on June 30, 2007, Curt Hagman out raised Larry Dick by over 2 to 1 ($310,000- $188,000). After the next reporting period on Dec. 31, 2007 Larry tailed Curt by only $23,000 in cash on hand. Now Larry leads in the all important cash on hand category by $35,671.75.
Apex Bail Bonds President Curt Hagman's fundraising has gone from first to worst over the last year. Hagman's campaign finances also appear to suffer from runaway spending and huge overhead costs. Hagman spent $80,114 but only raised $11,673.92.
The Sixty Assembly District is currently held by Bob Huff who is running for State Senate. AD 60 consists of three counties: Orange, Los Angeles and San Bernardino. Orange County voters dominate the voting and contain 52% of the registered Republican voters, Los Angeles 34% and San Bernardino 14%.

WOW... you guys didn't even ATTEMPT to be objective about this issue huh?
Might I remind you that both these fine gentlemen are Republicans?
I am certain that you are familiar with Reagan's 11th Commandment, but it is painfully obvious here that you haven't hesitated to speak - or in this case report ill of fellow Republican and Assembly hopeful candidate Curt Hagman.
It is my hope that you will consider playing more of a level hand in the future and focus, channel or direct your venom towards Democrats.
This would advance our objectives.
Thank You,
Bo Patatian

I would be interested in what Larry Dick did while in the MWD to ensure southern California had enough water to support all of the new construction and residents in the south. Why are we being asked to conserve water? Is it so other builders can build private lakes and additional golf courses? How did the MWD do its job?
