These positions serve as ambassadors for our agency, helping to foster relationships with the communities we serve and build support for our mission. The emphasis in these positions will include responsibility for: performing various outreach program activities and field assignments; communicating about various issues on AQMD's behalf to enlist and ensure support for the agency's objectives; assisting in the achievement of goals and objectives related to AQMD's intergovernmental affairs program; preparing a wide range of written materials to communicate with various community, special interest group and public agency contacts, or members of the public; and arranging and serving as a representative of the agency in town hall meetings and various special events.
