OC/DC: Trouble in Paradise

Drudge has a non-linked post up reporting (at 2:26 PM ET -- that's 19:26 GMT for those interested) the Los Angeles County registrar failed to deliver proper voting equipment to polling places. Drudge called it the "board of elections" but I think that's a Florida-ism. Californians know and love their registrars, clerks and recorders even more than their boards.
If it's true, it won't matter what it's called and the only ones called will be attorneys.
