Former State Republican Chairman Shawn Steel Endorses Jeff Miller

Mission Viejo, CA - Former State Republican Party Chairman Shawn Steel today endorsed former County Republican Party Chairman Jeff Miller's campaign for the 71st Assembly District.

"I support Jeff Miller because he has been an outstanding Republican Party County Chairman, and with his business and city council experience, he will be a very effective conservative representative in Sacramento," Shawn Steel said.

As a former County Republican Party Chairman Jeff Miller raised a record $1.2 million dollars to help elect Republicans throughout the County. Additionally, as a former State Co-Chair for Jessica's Law he raised $110,000 to help pass the initiative to keep sexual predators out of local communities.

"I'm thankful to have the support of a great Republican leader like Shawn Steel," said Jeff Miller. "Shawn Steel has long been a respected voice within our Party, and his support means a great deal to me, and it adds a great deal of momentum to my campaign."

In addition to being the former Chairman of the Republican Party of Riverside, Jeff Miller is the Mayor of the City of Corona, the largest city in the 71st District.  Miller grew up and started a business in Orange County, which eventually expanded to the Inland Empire. The 71st District straddles the Orange and Riverside county borders and Miller is the only candidate with deep roots in both counties.
