This just came over the transom from the Neil Blais for Assembly campaign:
Influential Irvine Councilwoman Christina Shea Endorses Neil Blais for Assembly
(Orange) - Today, Irvine Councilwoman Christina Shea became the latest Orange County Republican to endorse Neil Blais' candidacy for the open 71st Assembly District - continuing a widespread consolidation of Orange County GOP support behind Blais' campaign.
"Orange County Taxpayers need Neil Blais in the Assembly," said Councilwoman Shea. "In the Assembly, Neil Blais will fight to strengthen our borders and protect small businesses from endless government regulation. He is a proven conservative and taxpayer advocate with a strong record of cutting wasteful government spending and keeping taxes low."
As one of Orange County's leading local government voices, Councilwoman Shea's support continues a string of major GOP endorsements for Blais over the past two weeks, including popular Supervisors Moorlach and Chris Norby, and 71st Assembly District incumbent Todd Spitzer, among dozens of others.
Last month, Neil Blais began his 2nd term as Ranch Santa Margarita Mayor, where he announced his intention to push for a tax rebate program to return surplus funds to taxpayers. Rancho Santa Margarita has been considered a model city in South County.

How exactly is a freshamn Assemblyman going to "strengthen secure our borders?"
Im so tired of people pandering for my vote with a BS promise to "strengthen our Borders". Thats why I voted for McCain. Much to the shagrin of so many "conservatives"
McCain is a good man. he is in the middle where we need to return to as a party. I will never vote again for any candidate no mater what office (other than Federal) if they even hint they are going to do something about our borders.
Unless you are in the House of Representatives, the US Senate, of the White House there is not a thing you can do about our borders.
I have recently left the GOP to become a DTS, after i voted for McCain of course. I will never return until our party is purged of the Right Wing psychopaths that ran this country into the ground since bush took office.
Anon.3:34, McCain is a good man and also Neil Blais is good enough to be our assmblyman.
I strongly believe Neil can help strengthen the borders and defend our family values if we send him to Sacramento to represent us.
Remember, a strong California assembly leader can make a lasting impact to our congress if California voters can be unified under his/her leadership.
JCA out Cornordo Communicaitons in on the Blais campaign????
