This came over in the afternoon from the Hagman for Assembly campaign:
ASSEMBLYMAN BILL EMMERSON ENDORSES HAGMAN FOR ASSEMBLYI like short press releases without a lot of repetitive information.
San Bernardino - Curt Hagman, Mayor of the City of Chino Hills, and Republican candidate to replace Assemblyman Bob Huff in the 60th District, has just received the coveted endorsement of Assemblyman Bill Emmerson.
"I am overwhelmed by the support I have received from distinguished State leaders like Assemblyman Emmerson" said Mayor Hagman.
Emmerson is joined by Assembly colleagues Anthony Adams, Paul Cook, Kevin Jeffries, and Sharon Runner in their support for Mayor Hagman. On the Senate side, Republicans leaders Bob Margett, George Runner, and Bob Dutton have all endorsed Curt Hagman as well.

Who?
What do you mean who? Assemblyman Bill Emmerson endorsed Curt Hagman for the AD 60.
Looks like Curt is locking up the moderate wing of the party. He must have worked hard to get this 'coveted endorsement' of a guy with a 47% rating from the CRA.

P.S. Didn't Emmerson give money to Gray Davis in 2003?
I was being sarcastic about an endorsement from an out-of -district Assemblyman that will have zero meaning to voters.
Jubal-
The a good portion of the 60th is in San Bernardino County where Bill Emerson is widely popular. This should have been an endorsement that Larry Dick actively sought.
With the exception of the incumbent, aren't all other endorsements "out of district"?

Mark, only 15% of the 60th District is in San Bernardino County. The only city in San Bernardino County that is in the 60th is Chino Hills. All Hagman's doing is resecuring his base - at best.

They're called State Senators, Congressmen, county officials, city officials, etc.
